Praveenya Institute of Marine Engineering

Established in the year 2006, the Praveenya Institute of Marine Engineering and Maritime Engineering were formed by a group of academicians and professional engineers spanning on an area of 12.07 acres. The institute offers various facilities such as library, computer lab, Welding shop, engine room simulator, lecture hall, laboratory hostel ship in campus, cafeteria and much more. The institute is approved by the directorate General of Shipping Government of India and All India Council of Technical Education New Delhi. The institute is affiliated to Andhra University, Visakhapatnam. It is the only institute in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana to groom Marine engineers.

Eligibility for 1-Year Marine Engineering Course for Graduates

Graduation in BE with minimum 50% marks and minimum 50% marks in English in 10th or 12th or degree exams

OR

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical and Automation Engineering with minimum 50% marks

Eligibility for 4-Year Degree Course in Marine Engineering

• 10+2 pass with PCM and English as separate subjects (PCM average of not less than 60%)

• English language with minimum 50% marks in English language in 10th/ 12th or degree/ Diploma course
