The Birla Institute of Technology & Science, BITS Pilani is an all-India Institute for higher education. The primary motive of BITS is to "train young men and women able and eager to create and put into action such ideas, methods, techniques and information". Over the years, BITS has provided the highest quality technical education to students from all over India admitted on the basis of merit. Its graduates may be found throughout the world in all areas of engineering, science and commerce. BITS symbolize the maturing of Indian technical ability and "can-do" entrepreneurial spirit, especially as derived from the private sector. Eligibility criteria for B.E

Must have passed the 10+2 examinations with a minimum of 75% in PCM and English

60% marks scored individually in each subject

Eligibility criteria for B.Pharma

10+2 examinations passed with at least 75% marks in PCB/M and English

At least 60% marks in each of the subjects individually

Eligibility criteria for M.E

A B.E degree with minimum marks of 60%

Eligibility criteria for MBA

B.E./B.Tech or a Masters Degree in any discipline

Eligibility criteria for Ph.D

ME/MS degree with a minimum of 60% marks

Working in an organization that collaborates with BITS Pilani for Practice school/ Research/WILP activities and must obtain a NOC from the same

BITS Pilani, along with providing quality education, offers excellent placement assistance to the students. BITS Pilani campuses schedule two placement seasons every year. Our students work in industry for one of the two semesters in their final year as part of the Practice School programme and are available only part of the time on campus. The placement process has been refined to make recruitment as simple as possible for students and companies alike. Students are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities as it helps them develop soft skills and develop well rounded personalities. It is this that differentiates the students and makes them a valuable part of any company they join.
