BIT Mesra - Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra was established in 1955 by Mr. B M Birla. A premier technical institute and deemed University. The Main Campus has a Size of 780 acres with total number of registered students across all centres are more than 10,000.Doctoral students. More than 150 Programmes are offered in Undergraduate, Post- graduate and Doctoral degrees. For over five decades, BIT Mesra (located 16 kms from Ranchi, the Jharkhand state-capital) has been engaged in nurturing minds through a rich heritage of academic excellence.
