National Institute of Technology, Raipur is a one of the leading engineering institutes in the country. The institute is approved by The University Grants Commission and All India Council of Technical Education. It was established in 1956. The Institute offers B.Tech, B.Arch, M.Tech, MCA and Ph.D. courses. NIT offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level programs in several specializations. Teachers here are qualified and knowledgeable as per required. Their teaching is great. They are helpful. Labs are good, Wi-Fi network coverage in the entire campus was excellent with very high uploading and downloading speed. Classrooms look amazing and there are few good rooms to write homework. The college organises many events like technical, cultural, sports, entrepreneurship summits, etc.

Admissions

Eligibility for B. Tech course: The Candidates must have passed 10+2 level in science stream with 75% aggregate. Candidates are selected on their JEE Main score. Eligibility for M. Tech course: The candidates must have complete BE/B. Tech degree in relevant stream from a recognised university. M. Tech admission process includes GATE score and CCMT counselling. Eligibility for MCA course: The candidates must have complete Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% aggregate. MCA programme will be selected based on their NIMCET score. Eligibility for PhD course: The candidates must have complete Master’s degree in the relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate or 6.5 CGPA. Admission of PhD programme is based on the candidate's previous academic performance, written test and performance in the interview.
