PES University Bangalore (PESU)

PES University, located in Bangalore, India is one of the country’s leading teaching and research universities. The University is committed to providing “education for the real world” that inspires students to realize their potential. It was stablished in 1972 with a major focus on five main educational areas: Engineering, Medicine, Management, Law and Life Sciences. It has over 15,000 students and manages about 45 educational programmes. The institutions offer both foundation courses in these areas, as well as specializations, with a Bachelors, Master or PhD degree. It was upgraded to a university status in 2013. The university has been ranked 200 among universities in India NIRF in 2018 and 196 in the engineering ranking.

Admissions

Admission to all the regular courses is through PESSAT or CET examination. For various Masters and doctoral courses, the University also conducts an interview round for evaluation of the candidates. All the candidates need to sit for PESSAT and based on the academic score of the candidates as well as the score in the entrance test and their previous qualifying examination, the final merit list for the candidates are prepared.
